Regroup is a clinical mental health service specialised in optimising recoveries before, during and after significant health events. This includes significant surgeries, women's health challenges and any sudden or unforeseen medical diagnoses/events.
We work to understand each client as an individual including your medical history, current concerns and your functional capacity.
Regroup work tirelessly to enable people to continue with their lives despite difficult and, often painful, health experiences (EG: parenting, working and other vital roles).
We are passionate about pro-active, preventative and values-based health care.
Regroup will take a holistic view of health and wellness, specialising in the bio-psycho-social model. We are here to support you in making sense of complex symptoms and will work in close collaboration with your broader health care team. This may include your general practitioner, surgeon, physiotherapist, occupational therapist etc.
Following our initial assessment, we will ensure a shared impression of the concerns at hand and the available evidence-based treatment options and team optimisation. We believe an open approach to your health care, with view to empowering the client, is key to consistently feeling autonomous and motivated within your recovery.
We provide tailored mental health and mindset optimisation treatment plans at any stage of your health episode. Our referrals (related to surgeries) tend to be in conjunction with surgeons; working together to manage the lead up to surgery, your hospital stay(s) and clinical challenges post-discharge. But you are welcome to self-refer also.
Our services include assessments and treatments to help manage mental wellbeing, adjust following interventions and consult regarding the best practice approach for your successful healing process; getting you back to yourself as efficiently as possible.
Our women’s health services are dedicated to supporting your mental well-being before, during, and after childbirth. We offer specialized care for birth trauma, perinatal mental health, hormone-related mental health concerns, and encourage all partners/loved ones to be involved and supported throughout.
Facing a sudden medical event often presents multiple challenges, beyond the immediate medical concern (nothing exists in isolation). We offer mental health support for unexpected health events, to help you adjust to experiences such as heart attacks, strokes or life-changing diagnoss (which is so often unexpected). Our team is here to support you and your family throughout.
